Utah’s Energy Resource Procurement Act

Utah Code Ann. §54-17-602(1)(a) provides that 20% of Utah’s adjusted electricity sales should be from qualifying electricity or renewable energy certificates by 2025. Utah Code Ann. §54-17-601 defines “qualifying carbon sequestration generation” for purposes of meeting these obligations.
