- This website is for legislators, advocates, educators, and all those at the federal, state and local levels who seek to achieve deep reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
- Our team has authored over 80 model laws that are a starting place for discussion and collaboration among elected officials, non-profit groups and the private sector.
- To shortcut your research, we provide Top 10 Lists of some of the most interesting model laws and other resources for electric vehicles, public utility commissions, buildings and other topics.
- Our database also compiles more than 2,000 other laws and resources that governments have adopted or proposed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, organized by topic, jurisdiction, and location.
- The Model Climate Laws Initiative outreach team actively works with NGOs, state and local government agencies and industry trade associations to respond to their issues and concerns.
