Report on Colorado Zero Emission Vehicle Program

The Environmental Defense Fund prepared a 2019 study on the impacts of Colorado adopting ZEV standards in line with California’s ZEV regulation, finding that the program would save Coloradans up to $65 million annually by 2025, and up to $2.2 billion a year by 2040, in economic and pollution benefits. Colorado adopted its ZEV program later that year.
