Oregon’s Charging Program for Utility PacifiCorp

In 2018, the Orgeon PUC adopted a stipulation for PacifiCorp to conduct three pilot programs through 2019 and to develop a cost-effectiveness framework and pilot study on the potential system impacts of residential electric vehicle adoption in a portion of their service territory. Pilots included a $1.85 million public charging pilot where they would install, own, and operate charging stations; 2) a $1.105 million outreach and education pilot; and 3) a $1.685 million demonstration and development pilot which includes grant funding to help non-residential customers develop creative, community-driven electric vehicle supply equipment projects.
