FAST Act

The Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act outlined regulatory process improvements to encourage timely agency decisions through the publication of agency status reports under the federal permitting dashboard, periodic reporting to Congress and agency heads, and dispute resolution. The process improvements outlined there may serve as a model for a similar effort in the approval processes for hydropower.
