Energy Policy Act of 2005

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 outlined processes for natural gas pipeline certification. The legislation granted jurisdiction to the courts to take action where an agency fails to take timely action, setting schedules and deadlines for the agency on remand. This model may be useful applied to the hydropower licensing realm as well.
