San Carlos EV Charging Density Bonuses

The city of San Carlos provides developers with a density bonus for providing parking with EV charging. Under Section 18.05.030 of the municipal code, developers are allowed to exceed the maximum allowable floor area by 10% if they provide additional environmental design features, which includes EV charging.
