Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program

The Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program provides funding for on-farm research and efforts to increase knowledge about sustainable agricultural practices among farmers and agricultural professionals. Administered by NIFA, SARE is the only USDA competitive grants program that focuses exclusively on sustainable agriculture. LPDD recommends dramatically increasing its funding.
