Proposed Clean Energy Innovation and Deployment Act of 2020

This proposed 2020 Congressional legislation:

• Would provide financial support for RD&D into long-term energy storage and carbon storage infrastructure, among other things.
• Would enact a federal Clean Energy Standard, operating on a technology-neutral standard.
• Would establish a Clean Energy Acceleration Production Tax Credit for companies that replace their CO2-emitting units up to a certain percentage by various interim dates.
