Pipeline Safety Act

The federal Pipeline Safety Act gives the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration broad authority to adopt regulations, prescribing minimum standards for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipeline facilities transporting natural and other flammable, toxic, or corrosive gas.
