New Jersey Interconnection Standards for Solar and Batteries

New Jersey’s S3308 requires electric public utilities to implement certain improvements to interconnection process for certain grid supply solar facilities and energy storage facilities. The law requires each electric public utilities to approve interconnection applications for grid supply (that is, not net metered or on-site) solar facilities and batteries with a capacity of 20 megawatts or less, unless the application is incomplete or the interconnection would be unsafe.
