MCLI Recommendation: “The federal government or states should eliminate interconnection fees or individual interconnection contracts for customers.”

LPDD Recommendation: “State PUCs should create policies to encourage utilities to speed up the interconnection approval process through streamlined automated procedures and ever online hosting capacity maps.”

LPDD Recommendation: “State PUCs should require utilities to file ‘distributed resource plans’ (DRPs) or locational value maps showing at which locations DG resources are most needed and best deployed without requiring new infrastructure.”
