Model Legislation: The Carbon Capture and Sequestration Regulatory Act of 2010

The CCSReg Project’s model legislation on CCS aimed to establish a comprehensive system for the safe and effective transport and geologic sequestration of carbon dioxide. It addresses siting and construction of CO2 pipelines, adaptive approaches to sequestration, a CCS technical advisory committee, sequestration permitting, and more.
