Missouri tax deductions for home energy audits and efficiency improvements

In July 2008 Missouri enacted legislation (codified at Mo. R.S. 143.121(8)) allowing homeowners to take an income tax deduction (up to $1000, or $2000 for couples) of the cost of home energy audits and associated energy efficiency improvements. It is currently set to expire in 2021.
