Law for Promotion of Sorted Collection and Recycling of Containers and Packaging

The 1995 Law for Promotion of Sorted Collection and Recycling of Containers and Packaging regulates the life-cycle management of products such as containers and packaging. It created a national recycling policy guiding municipal sorting, collection, and recycling of glass, plastic, polystyrene, paper, and metal containers and packaging waste created by businesses and consumers.
