Grand Rapids Home Occupation Zoning
Grand Rapids zoning code permits home occupations with a focus on preserving the character of the neighborhood and the residential quality of the home. Grand Rapids also permits live/work units on “regional streets” (connecting Grand Rapids to other nearby townships), where a maximum of one-half of the total area of the unit is designated to non-residential use, and where at least one full-time employee also resides at the property.
