Diesel Emissions Reduction Act programs

DERA provides federal funding in the form of grants to eligible entities for projects that reduce emissions from existing diesel engines. The programs provide funding for applicants nationally, at the state level through state programs, and through tribal governments. Constituent programs include a Clean School Bus program, programs for the retrofit and replacement of agricultural and construction equipment, and federal funding for similar state programs.
