California’s Moyer Program

California has used the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program to provide funding support for diesel engine retrofits and replacement. The program administers funds to help owners of heavy-duty diesel equipment purchase retrofit or newer engines that improve emissions. 2015’s SB 513 modified program regulations to advance zero and near-zero technologies, and combined program funds with those of other incentive programs.
