California’s SNAP Regulation

California SNAP is comprised of a regulation by CARB and Senate Bill 1013, also known as the California Cooling Act. Both the CARB HFC Regulation and SB 1013 took effect January 1, 2019. These policies adopt SNAP prohibitions for certain substances in refrigeration and foam end-uses.
