Proposed Green Bank Act of 2016

The proposed Green Bank Act of 2016 (HR 5802) would have established a U.S. Green Bank that provides financial support to assist regional, state, and local institutions finance clean energy or energy efficiency. It would have received an initial capitalization of $10 billion and additional capitalization, upon the bank’s request, of no more than $50 billion in aggregate at any one time.
