PG&E Joint Proposal on Shutting Down Diablo Canyon

A 2016 PG&E joint proposal to retire the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant provides one model of a just transition. The agreement outlines: a severance program for 1500 employees; a retention program for during the phasedown; and a retraining and redeployment program that will place employees elsewhere within PG&E.
