NYSERDA Model Solar Energy Local Law and Solar Guidebook for Local Governments

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority has prepared a Model Solar Energy Local Law inform local officials on the processes of installing, operating, maintaining and decommissioning solar energy systems. The Model Law is included in a broader New York Solar Guidebook for Local Governments, which covers best practices in financing, technical guidance, permitting and inspection for rooftop solar.
