NYC Congestion Pricing Program

The Central Business District Tolling Program, a congestion pricing proposal, was approved in 2019 as part of the New York State Budget. While pricing, exemptions, and other details of the law have yet to be finalized, the plan is seeks to raise $15 billion for public transit upgrades. The Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority will recommend the toll amounts by late 2020.
