NY Smart Home Rate Demonstration Projects

As part of the Reforming the Energy Vision proceeding, the NY PSC has approved several utilities to conduct Smart Home Rate demonstration projects. The projects will combine smart home capabilities with the deployment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure to demonstrate a new pricing framework for residential customers. The projects will advance pricing and rate design objectives while engaging customers in the energy market.
