New York’s Pollinator-Friendly Solar Act (2018)

The legislation requires the New York Department of Environmental Conservation in association with others, to develop minimum guidelines for vegetation management plans used by those who make public claim that their property is pollinator friendly or provides protections to pollinators. A scorecard is used to determine the standard by which projects are evaluated.
