Los Angeles County Oil and Gas Well Ban

Following a similar measure in the City of Los Angeles, in January 2023, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors officially approved an ordinance to prohibit new oil and gas wells and phase out current drilling in unincorporated areas of one of the nation’s most densely populated counties.
