DOE Bioenergy Research and Development Portfolio

The DOE has funded several bioenergy R&D projects, including a 2018 announcement of 36 projects totaling $80 million of support to develop drop-in renewable hydrocarbon fuels, bio-based products, and power from non-food biomass and waste feedstocks.
