CAISO ancillary services markets revisions

In 2016, the California Independent System Operator filed proposed revisions to its Open Access Transmission Tariff with FERC to facilitate participation of aggregations of distribution-connected or distributed energy resources in CAISO’s energy and ancillary services markets. The revisions would simply allow behind-the-meter resources to put in performance-based bids without reference to a baseline. FERC accepted the filing subject to conditions.
